Dr. Cheryl Schmitt's optometric expertise is in comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses, refractive surgery evaluations and surgical co-management. Dr.Schmitt is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Optometry. Dr. Cheryl Schmitt received her doctorate at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She has an undergraduate degree in Nutrition from the University of Arizona and her Masters in nutrition from Texas Tech. In addition to being an optometrist she is also a registered dietician.
She is active in the Southern Arizona Optometric Society, the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. An Arizona native, Dr. Cheryl Schmitt was raised in Bisbee. She now lives in Tucson with her wonderful husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and being a mom!
