Dr. Cheryl Schmitt's optometric expertise is in comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses, refractive surgery evaluations and surgical co-management. Dr.Schmitt is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Optometry. Dr. Cheryl Schmitt received her doctorate at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She has an undergraduate degree in Nutrition from the University of Arizona and her Masters in nutrition from Texas Tech.

She is the past president of  the Southern Arizona Optometric Society, and currently serves on the board of the Arizona Optometric Association.  Dr. Schmitt is also an active member of the American Optometric Association. An Arizona native, Dr. Cheryl Schmitt was raised in Bisbee. She now lives in Tucson with her wonderful husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and being a mom!
